Excellent value and wonderful small hotel in an easy position close to the town centre. Location close to the required taxis for the evening ahead, a restaurant next door and local attractions to visit. Nearby The Top House - great place to chill out.

The hotel was lovely little and the staff were caring. Enjoyed our standard room. The venue was in an unbeatable location, close to shops. The food was good, had a wide array of options. The service was good, totally satisfied. Besides, there was parking off site. Highly recommended for a wedding ceremony.

A gorgeous hotel in Stanley with incredibly nice staff with good attentive service at breakfast. Marvellous location in the taxi away and easy access to supermarkets and shops. Besides, very convenient to St Andrews Church.

Thoroughly enjoyed this functional accommodation with hard-working and friendly efficient stuff on request by a very friendly staff member. It was in a central location, over to the Hilltop. And we were near the excellent Beamish outdoor museum.

The hotel was a comfortable base for enjoying a nice quiet area, really close to a town centre, Italian Restaurant, and the reception / eatery. The location was perfect and magnificent - only a short distance to everywhere we wanted to go. Moreover, it was 4 km from an open-air living museum.
